Concerns About Press Processing
Difficulty in Performing Press Processing In-House
We manufacture everything from dies to press machines and can handle contracted processing within our factory. We manage everything from processing to inspection and deliver it to our customers.
Want to Reduce Scrap Lift During Press Processing
We prevent scrap lift by incorporating air holes in the punch or by inserting small diameter pins into the punch to push out the scrap. Our experienced staff can propose other approaches to address any issues.
Want to Increase the Number of Shots in Press Processing
Coating the punch increases release properties and reduces adhesive buildup. It also enhances wear resistance, resulting in an increased number of shots. Additionally, maintenance frequency is reduced, improving work efficiency. We can also propose material and structural improvements for the die based on the situation.
Concerns About Processing Tests & Materials
Want to Conduct Punching Tests on New Materials, Products, or Films
Our company can perform simple punching tests using our test dies. After the test, we provide diagnostic evaluations and feedback to our customers.
Want to Punch Materials with Unknown Processability, Such as Special Materials
For materials with unknown processability, we can perform test processing using dies or engraving blades with several types of clearances set. We have established a system to make judgments for die production. We also accommodate urgent requests, so please feel free to contact us!
Concerns About High-Precision Processing
Want to Perform High-Precision Press Processing
For high-precision processing, we recommend introducing our developed press machine, the "SSD1000/1500-DSF." By using two feeders, it significantly reduces product deflection and distortion during transport. Additionally, the machine allows for multi-stage product pitch and stroke settings, making it adaptable to various layouts with a single die.
Concerns About Dies
Want to Improve Die Change Efficiency
We recommend adopting the "QDC Fixture and QDC Die." By attaching the fixture tool to the press machine, you can set the die using only alignment pins, which greatly reduces die change time. Additionally, the QDC dies are lightweight, which enhances workability. We can also produce QDC fixtures tailored to existing press machines, so please feel free to contact us!
Want to Improve Production Efficiency
We can decrease faults by setting the clearance according to the type and thickness of the material. To minimize punch wear during blanking, using carbide punches enhances die durability and product quality. We also manufacture carbide punches, So please feel free to contact us.
Want to Improve Quality Variability When Processing Thin Films
We received a consultation for processing 2-layer films (PI 5µm/PET 50µm) with hole punching and cutting tools. We proposed a combination die using both punches and cutting tools, achieving stable processing even during continuous blanking.
Testing Metal Products with a Pitch and Thin Metal
We created a test die based on the actual product and proposed appropriate clearance and blanking methods. Based on the test results, we designed and manufactured a production die that eliminates burrs and cracks in the product.
Concerns About Short Delivery Times and Cost Reduction
Want to Switch from Laser Processing to Die Cutting for Cost Reduction
Concerns about burrs, costs, and whether the die production lead time would match the product's shipment date. We addressed these concerns by increasing the number of parts per die using a general-purpose die, which reduced manufacturing time. We produced the die in as little as 3 days, and by handling the press process in-house, we were able to deliver the product within a week.
Increased Personnel, Time, and Costs for Scrap Removal During Die Cutting of High-Tack Products
We modified the tip shape of the punching die and applied a non-stick coating to reduce the time needed for scrap removal and establish a stable quality shipping system.
Concerns About Overseas Production
Want to Expand Dies and Press Equipment Manufactured at Sekiguchi's Domestic Factory to Your Overseas Locations
We offer after-sales support at overseas factories as well. In collaboration with our group companies, we handle modifications and maintenance. Since support is provided locally without needing to transport items to Japan, we can ensure quick turnaround times and cost-effective solutions.
Concerns About Cleanliness
Want to Prevent Small Debris from Adhering to Products During Processing
We have established a cleanroom within our factory, allowing us to perform prototype and mass production processing in a clean environment (CLASS: 10000). After processing, products are also packed within the cleanroom, ensuring they are shipped without any dust or debris contamination!
Concerns About Inspection
Want to Reduce Personnel and Time for Product Inspection
We have developed a range of inspection devices in the past. We can develop and customize equipment to meet your specific requirements.
Concerns About Product Transport
Want to Reduce Snagging During Product Transport
To minimize snagging during product transport, our company uses lifter pins. By employing lifter pins, the product’s path line is raised during transport, physically preventing contact with the die surface and thereby avoiding snagging.
